Today's Stupendous Quotes Quiz of the Day - Quotes from Kid's Books!

All you have to do is tell us which children's book each quote comes from. Remember, all guesses must be in by 11AM Wednesday!!! Extra points for author names!

1. Wind in the Willows! Oh, no it's not, it's the Toad and Frog series and I have no idea the name of the book.

8. Green Eggs and Ham? Above guesser says Cat in the Hat - so I guess that's thing one and thing two but I wouldn't have known that
9. WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE!!!! THIS ONE I KNOW THE WHOLE THING BY HEART FROM 30 YEARS AGO being my daughter's favorite. I can still say it all!

oh fun ... now if only i can remember because all these quotes sound so beautifully familiar.

1. toad and frog are from wind in the willows (i love the illustrated version i have, and my mom used to read this to us when we were wee).

2. i really don't think i know this one at all ...

#2 is "If you give a mouse a cookie" one of our favorites that I read numerous times to my 4 sons. Thanks for the memory. The others are awesome as well...Sherri
