I'm still alive!

I just wanted to post, and tell you all that I AM still alive!

(Note: Due to the stress of this week and how behind I am on blog-reading, Princess Jami & I have decided to cancel yesterday's quiz, and re-start next Monday.

Also, my appologies to Daises, Tammy V, & all of the quiz winners for being so behind on mailing things out that I planed to have sent weeks ago.)

I called in to work yesterday, after my Sunday grief & tick drama... I was actually planning to go to work anyway, but...

• My bra was in the washer, and was still kinda wet by the time I needed to leave.
• My skirt was too tight, it cut into my waist
• I couldn't find my keys, ANYWHERE!!!!!!!! I looked for them forever.

So I called in and explained that Dad's b-day would have been Sunday, and I'd basically been so upset that I'd made myself sick (my tummy was NOT happy). I didn't mention the keys, so that I wouldn't spend the entire day today being made fun of.

Yesterday the roomate went on a painting spree, and after I slept a bit extra, I went on a cleaning & re-arranging binge in the kitchen. I'm trying to decide how I want to do the cabinets... I really want to paint them red and white somehow, to match the Coca-Cola theme I want. We're laying white and black checked linoleum on the floors, the appliances are all white with a little black, and the decorations will all be Coke stuff.

So, I've started making the kitchen "MY kitchen" now, which is nice. I got a little crocheting done, watched HEROES (it's BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *happy dance*), and played my Gameboy (until I dropped it, and it erased my progress... I gave up for a while). I worked a little in the yard, but not much. Anyway... lots of fun progress being made! I'm excited.

In other news, Kim doesn't seem to be mad or even annoyed with me. We chatted/texted throughout the day yesterday.

Still no word on how the appraisal went... the loan place said they should have it by the end of the day today.
