The Story of James

(To join the Friday the 13th quiz, see the post below this one!)

Okay, okay, since some of you missed the time in my life when James and I were becoming "official", I decided to give you an official bio on James!!

Name: James Allen Myers

Alias: Fat Baby (I don't call him that.)

Occupation: Laborer/Supervisor of some sort

Hobbies: History, video games, hiking, collecting swords, and working himself to death

Where did we meet: I have known James for absolutely EVER it seems like! I met him when I was 14 and visited his church for a while. He SERIOUSLY got on my nerves!!!! lol We plotted ways to torture each other... not knowing that one day we would end up wanting to torture each other "til death do us part" lol

When did we get close: We worked together at a church camp 3 summers ago. I was the oldest female in my dorm, he was the oldest male, so the others called us "mom" and "dad". We decided we had been married 26 years (I was only 24 at the time hahaha) and made up some little things. We got really close during that week, and had an on-again-off-again thing for a while.

What's going on with us now: We're both spending some time getting our lives together. Financially we are both in need of some work... I'm working toward buying a house and improving my credit. He's working towards paying off some debts and buying a better car. We also want to spend more time together without the "kids" (M and Jakey are almost always with us) to just get to know each other better.

What I love most about him: He balances me. He's as laid-back as I am hyper! We both LOVE to hike, and just to hang out at home with a good movie or video game. He never rejects people because they aren't what other people would look for in a friend. He doesn't give up on his friends even when they make stupid decisions. His massages are so good they're almost sinful! And he's GREAT with kids!!!!

he sounds like a wonderful person - gentle and caring. You are lucky to have him in your life, but I am sure you know that. I am married to my soul mate, my kindred spirit, my best friend and forever, I will know I am blessed.

Hello, girly!
For the swap you can make any kind of bag. For a sock kit bag you'll not need to make it very large. I'll try and see if I can come up with any easy knit and sew patterns that will help.
