Today everyone, is our first official Warm-Fuzzy Bonding day here at my blog!!! I'm going to try and have an official "Warm-Fuzzy Bonding Question" on here every Wednesday, as well as a VERY cool new idea Jami & I have for Mondays!
So today's Warm-Fuzzy Bonding Question is:

I have so much I can say about pets... (And I will, since this IS a meme that I created lol) I think I'll just keep posting little bits throughout the day.
Growing up I lived in the country, and we ALWAYS had a bunch of cats and a few dogs. Dad loved to hunt so we always had hunting dogs, especially beagles. He'd take the girl beagle over to my uncle Skip's house, let it spend some time alone with Skip's boy beagle, and then eventually we'd get PUPPIES! They were always so little and cute! I'd roll around on the ground with puppies on top of me... chewing on me... chasing me... Unfortunately, they always grew up. *sigh*
I always wanted a gecko, but instead I'm currently the owner of 2 demon-spawn kitties, and almost the owner of one doggie & a third evil kitty. You can see their pics here: http://janasjourneys.blogspot.com/2006/12/dreamy-thursday.html
I have a dog named Zelda who is 13 and insistent on doing her own thing. Which would be fine if her thing weren't dumping the trash can and eating food off the stove. She's never been terribly affectionate, either. I think she likes us, but she never gets all excited to see us or anything.
Our cat is Smokey and he's almost 2. He's a scaredy-cat. He likes to spend a lot of time outside, but he loves me and my oldest son and has even learned to tolerate the dog.
My favorite pets were Shadowbear my huge black fluffy cat. He was very temperamental but was my best and closest friend during my teenage years and first years of marriage, he was brutally murdered by a dog.
My dog was Dandy, was my constant companion as a little girl he never left my side and protected quite ferociously. My dear sweet *rolls-eyes* grandmother forced my mother to give him away when my parents divorced, in tears, my mother obeyed. I have not fully recovered from this traumatic event in my life.
my first pet when i was a little girl was a kitten but she ran away in a storm and we were away on holiday at the time :(
when i was growing up i had a cat called Tabitha
ive had a lot of cats in my adult years mostly 1 at a time and never more than 2 at a time
Billy had a bird last year but it died
we dont have any pets at the moment
growing up, i always had a dog ~ my mom has a photograph of me as a baby with my dog curled around me protecting me as i slept :)
i am currently dogless but we are in the process ~ we need to put a new fence in the yard of the house we bought last spring and wanted to finish the painting inside before picking out our very own lovable family dog : ) i so totally can't wait ~ its been far too long ...
otherwise, over the years, my home has been home to a tarantula, a ball python, name a fish and we had it, an ignuana and a hammy hamster ...
When I was three, we got a dog that was a mutt, mostly a cocker spaniel and poodle mix. Her name was Shadow and she was black. That dog was my companion and got me through some very rough times. She died when I was 14.
We also had cats, various numbers although my favorite combo was Mary, Martha and Lazarus.
Currently we have a cat, no dogs.
I always wanted a fishtank with lots of fancy looking fish in it.
the only pets I have now are my chickens who reward me with lovely fresh eggs.
when I was little, I had a dog named Pal. We had a cat called Agnes.
I like this idea - are we supposed to post it here or on our own blogs?
first pet: gray tomcat named Tommy Whiskers and my mom's dog, Stuffy (some part welsh corgi and something else) and her canary, Georgie. Then came Puff the cat, Snitch the dog (mostly beagle), Back Door Kitty (cat), Chopper (cat), miscellaneous roll up to the backdoor and stay awhile cats, Hilary a guina pig, 3 hamsters rescued from a neighbors python's cage, Scooter (a cat), Patches (cat), Chi-Chi and Bear (chow chows), Fluffy (who wasn't, cat), Kalamazoo (maine coone cat - both from the pound), 2 parakeets, several fish, another guina pig named Piggy, Emmie (a pug) and currently Sueno (another pug who is a rescue). Sueno is my only one left. Fluggy lived to 18 and Emmie to 15. After them I swore off animals, but here we have Sueno. So there you go.
