Prayers PLEASE!!!!

My dad is on his way to the hospital, they think he either had a stroke today or else got a concussion last week when he fell out of his wheelchair and is just now showing symptoms... half of the time he's okay and lucid, the other half of the time he's "out of his head"

I'm scared... I'm leaving to go see him as soon as I can, but sometimes even when he IS in his head, being with him is painful... so I'm terrified of what he'll say when he's not. Please keep me in your prayers today.

UPDATE: Monday 6:30 pM - Dad is settled now. He had a bad fall last week, and didn't see a doctor... then stopped eating Saturday and started having the shakes really bad. By the time I got in the hospital to see him today, he was delirious to the point that he wasn't always sure who we were. They gave him an IV, ran a few tests, and then moved him up to ICU... by the time we all left, he was doing much better! He could tell the doctor his name, date of birth, and everything else the dr asked except for the date (October 18, 2006? Not quite.) His hand had stopped shaking enough that he could drink diet coke with a straw. They're in the process now of running CT scans on his chest, (I'll rant about the WHY of that later), his shoulder, and his head. So far all they know for sure is that he's severely dehydrated, and that his Kumidin levels are WAY too high (because of not eating and still taking his medicines.) I'll know more a little later... I'm gonna nap and then call the ICU later. Thanks for all the love & prayers *hugs to all*

UPDATE: Tues 9:30 PM - I have called the hospital all through the day, and heard the same response... "his primary physician hasn't been in to see him yet, but we didn't find anything abnormal during the tests that I know of"... until I tried to call a few minutes ago, and was told that his nurse was busy, and could I call back in 30 minutes? No... I'm going to bed. But thanks for the offer. *sigh* I guess no news is good news at this point.
