Friday Fun!

Today, I'm grateful. No, seriously, I am!!!!! Goodness... can't a girl even get away with being grateful any more?

Anyway....

I'm grateful for:
  • "My kids". Last night James came with me to work with the kids, which was HILARIOUS!!!! He picked up little Jordan, flipped him upside down, and started to put him in the TRASH CAN! I laughed SO HARD. The kids loved him (of course) and want him to come back again. We did art contests, watched a movie, I threatened (jokingly!!!) to paddle Keisha, who said I wasn't old enough to... I told her my age and she started scooting as far away as possible! Hehe When I went to take James home (long story) two of the kids rode with me... we chatted about movies and other fun things. I took them to Burger King, bought us each a hamburger (except James, who got fries from a strange woman whose nametag read "Grandma") We were then interrogated by the entire BK staff about when and if we're getting married. Jordan popped into the convo long enough to say "You may now kiss the bride!!!!" which made me laugh. I dropped James off, took the kids home... the most I've EVER got to talk to them, which was way cool. Picked up their two older siblings to take them home... talked about daydreams (I want James & I to have a lot of land, a four-wheeler, a three-wheeler... and Shelby informed me that if we DID have that stuff, she was coming over to ride them! LOL) Took the kids home, and then had PEACE!!!!
  • Fridays! Tonight I have a mini-kids night... on our agenda you would find crocheting hats, learning Spanish, painting (they don't know that one is included yet), and learning Arabic if I can get that organized. If not... we'll play Phase 10!!!
  • Luka, the roomie's kitty, who now gives me "hugs" in the morning. She also cuddles and purrs... *sigh*
  • Sunshine - even on the coldest days, when the sun shines, it brightens up the whole world.
  • Starbucks! I got a java chip frape yesterday... SO. GOOD.
Now my workday is done, and I'm ready to go home. Maybe read a little... watch a movie... or let the cat in to snuggle.

Leti, You almost DID get to see it!!! Unfortunately, wasn't quick enough with the cam/video *sad sigh*

Mrs. D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe you asked that! (FYI, no we haven't... I'm not really much of a kisser.)

Tammy, well, the kitty also bites, destroys property, rips wallpaper off of the walls, and other destructive things. I guess her evilness and goodness kinda cancel each other out?
