Getting to Know You - Meme #3

From the CAC blog - today's Getting to Know You questions:

1. What are some of your favorite smells? What's a smell that many other people seem to like, but you don't?

I LOVE the smell of rain, the smell of nature, green & blue shower gels, Mexican food being cooked, steak on the grill, fancy coffees brewing, hyacinths, lily of the valley, roses, fresh-tilled dirt, babies

I don't like the smell of anything musky, because I'm allergic, the smell of fresh-cut grass, because i'm allergic, or very sweet smells. I HATE the smell of chalk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the worst smell on EARTH! Oh, except fish! The smell of fish or anything fishy makes me EXTREMELY ill.

2. What are some of your favorite tastes? What's a taste many other people seem to like, but you don't?

I LOVE spicy tastes! I love the creamy chocolates, peanut butters, and cheese. I love cream cheese... cilantro in stuff...

I don't like the taste of dark chocolate or white chocolate really. I don't like to drink coffee unless it's REALLY flavored.

3. What are some of your favorite textures? What's a texture that many other people seem to like, but you don't?

I love VELVET, so much so that I have an intense desire to pet people when they are wearing it!! (So if you're going to Just Be... and plan on wearing velvet... be forewarned... LOL)

I hate itchy yarns and things that are SLIMEY! Ew.. or sticky, that's gross too.

4. What are some of your favorite sounds? What's a sound that many other people seem to like, but you don't?

Sounds? Well... I love the sounds of piano chords being played... wind blowing through trees... children laughing in a far distance... SILENCE... the purr of a kitty... ocean waves...

I hate children whining, children screaming, loud chaos, fingernails on chalkboards, metal scraping against metal...

5. What are some of your favorite sights? What's a sight that many other people seem to like but you don't?

I love flowers blooming, sunsets, SNOW, tropical colors, streams, rivers, waterfalls, green growing naturey things,...

I hate fall colors! I don't like it when the trees turn reds & yellows & oranges.

Bonus: If you could greatly enhance just one sense - say for instance see as many colors as a bird, or smell as many distinct scents as a dog - which sense would it be and why?
