Crap I'm chatty today! I haven't had a lot of time to read and comment on your blogs (life's been pretty chaotic) but I've been able to find time to write a few lines in a post here and there...
Remember how last Friday I walked to work, and took pictures and had an epiphany?
I walked to and from work yesterday, and to work today, and what have I gained?
Pain.
And blisters.
But I am going to walk my aching legs home tonight, after taking a painkiller... I'm not going to give up on this stupid walking thing. Tonight I brought my camera again to take LOADS of pics... I'll try to remember and get a shot of Kujo the Killer Corgie to show you all as I walk past him. He's so cute. I'm also trying to think of fun artistic uses for litter. We'll see how that goes. For now... hurried walking sucks, so I need to get up earlier tomorrow AM. I want to ENJOY a nice peaceful walk to work, not grumble as I speed-walk and hurry!

I made it worst by wearing a shoe and its alternating between being itchy and painful

Kujo the killer Corgie? lmao I can just imagine!
I think it's awesome that you live close enough to work to walk there. About the blisters, I was wondering if you have some good running/walking shoes or if you're walking in your 'work shoes' - I think I would keep a pair of work shoes at work, and wear my sneakers back and forth. I'm a baby about my feet though :)
Enjoy the walking - I'm looking forward to seeing Cujo the Killer Cute Corgi, lol.
IMHO, there is no better investment in our lives than our shoes. It's one of the only things I spend big bucks on because you're nothing without your feet. I know because I broke my arches years ago!
That's so funny about the bulletin board idea, I did the same thing! I used tacks for the pieces I wanted to reuse again later and love the idea of the collage changing Jana. Brilliant!
Thank you for letting me know that I am not alone in regretting a move choice. That helped a lot, to know you survived and got out. Yes, the warm weather should help with the pain a little if it doesn't get too humid. Thanks Jana, you are a good friend.
Walking is definitely a great thing to do! I hope your blisters get better, though. The aching comes from your legs trying to tempt you into stopping the walking! ;)
