Sick Days Rock!

Well, as you can tell if you read my to-do list for this weekend, I am not nearly as far along in my accomplishments as I had planned. And why is this? It seems that I have some kind of annoying stomach bug!

But as I played my new Nancy Drew computer game, I actually relaxed and ENJOYED my sick day! And what did I do?

Well, of course I worked on my boxes... but not using the usual supplies.

These new additions to the Ohana Art boxes are made of DOUGH! They are SO fun to make, I've had a ball. Here are some I made that haven't been painted yet...

And here are some fo the ones that I HAVE started painting. (Some still need touch-ups though.)

And some of the things I've been making are even CROCHETED!!! I'm very proud of these... I've actually made more than this picture shows, but I'm not sure where I laid some of them.

So who says sick days are all bad???

Sorry you are not feeling so well. I can sure relate. Gwen had the flu this week, the boys have goopy stuff coming from their eyes, and Mikaela, Jon and I are just tired and achy all over. The only thing I have done besides church today was a bit of reading. Hope you feel better.

Pretty! Your art is awesome!

Looks like the sick season is upon us, I'm getting a cold. I hope your tummy feels better soon.

What's the Nancy Drew Game like? I've always wanted to play it.

Jana, so sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well, but so happy that you got to stay in your pj's and create. I love this box with the moon and stars. I wanted to stop by and tell you about Mary Ann's (Follow your bliss) new club. She has this really great idea called Hand-Made Monday. I have all the information and links on my blog today, or else you can stop by hers to see how it works.

Well, it looks like you are full of creative ideas about your boxes. I was thinking of you when I read the recent Cloth,Paper,Scissors magazine and saw little tin boxes decorated with embellishments. Tin boxes...hmmmm

Blessings, Karen
