Shout Outs!!!!!!

Before I post all of my actual trip pictures, I just HAD to tell you all about some of the absolutely amazing people I met at the Creative Bazaar!!!!

Jes ~ Junque Revival

I am SO GLAD I got to meet Jes!!!! I didn't realize until I logged onto your site that SHE was the Junque Revival blogger! She introduced herself to me as "Sweetpea", and I was like... "Oh, crap. I should know her, but I don't!!!" Then today I logged on and found out that she was from Junque Revival, and it all made sense! LOL Sometimes I'm a bit slow!

Jes, you were SO much fun to chat with, and your comments about making your marriage a priority have been on my mind ever since then. You gave me so much to think about girly. I love the way you talk about your hubby and your marriage... I love how you have made it a priority even when that means going against the grain. And I just love your personality... I really wish I would have spent more time with you while we were there. But I'm now an official devoted fan of your blog!!!!!

These two gals were SO much fun!!! I had talked to Jamie a little bit via e-mail before the Bazaar, and as soon as I went to their table we all immediately clicked, like we'd known each other forever!!! We laughed so hard and had a ton of fun... I think the other vendors might have thought there was something wrong with us, but at least we enjoyed ourselves!!!!!!! lol
Oh, and Shannon is my SAME HEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so rare an occurance, that it made me unreasonably happy. LOL
Jamie, girl I SO do not believe it was "coincidence" that we chatted over e-mail before the event... I really believe it was meant to be. I had so much fun chatting with you, and our chat about art therapy has been on my mind ever since... I even e-mailed an art therapy association thingy to find out if they have it in my area.
Shannon, I had so much fun getting to know you! Now you just need to BLOG so we can keep it up!!!!! *hint, hint - nudge, nudge* LOL You rock girly! *hug*

Mary Ann was my "neighbor" at the Bazaar, and I am SO GLAD she was! Not only was she an awesomely fun person to chat with, a great traveling buddy, a fellow photo-bug, and someone who I chatted & laughed with until we were both almost hoarse... (well, she was, more than me... lol Poor Mary Ann!) but she is the closest person from the Bazaar to me in REAL LIFE too!!!!
I am SO GLAD you were my neighbor Mary Ann, you really added the sparkle to the experience!!! I hope you are happily at home now, enjoying your hubby again, and hopefully avoiding the after-effects of Mercury, and evil people who put nooses on poor innocent kitty cats!! :)

And last but SO DEFINATELY not least... Melba ~ Be Alive, Believe, Be You
This gal was so beyond sweet to me... because of the "Trip from Hell" on my way there, I ended up arriving at her M-I-Ls house at about 1AM Friday night... after she & her M-I-L rescued me from being lost in the middle of nowhere... (stupid round-abouts!!!!! If I'd just known what a round-about was, BEFORE I ended up taking one, the trip there would have been SO much easier!!!!!!!!) Then she had to be up the next morning to deal with all the Creative Bazaar pressures...
Melba, I appreciate that SO MUCH... more than you will ever know. This weekend was originally just a "test run" to see how people reacted to the things we had designed, so we could know where to go next... but it turned out to be so much more. The other vendors were so fun and so sweet to me, and I learned SO much about living a creative life & having a creative business... this weekend changed me in ways I had not expected. Thanks, so much, for giving me a place to join other arts and be welcomed with open arms. You are my hero. *big hug*
~*~*~*~
In the upcoming days I have so much more to share with you all... pictures, pictures, and more pictures... profiles of more of the people I met at the Bazaar... and pictures of new boxes Brittany & I plan on designing tomorrow night!!!
But for now, I need to find my cell phone (it's buried underneath all the crap I unloaded from the car... and YES, I did stop at every Hobby Lobby I saw between Cape Cod and home!!! I stopped at 3 Hobby Lobbies, 1 JoAnn Fabric, and 1 Michaels... grabbed clearance items from them all, and a bunch of boxes... and had a TON of fun!!! The art supply shelves are now officially restocked!), and get some sleep... love to you all!!!! *hugs*

How totally FUN!!! I am so glad you had a great time. I was praying you would have fun, and really connect and be refreshed. Sounds like it all came together. When you blog next, could you explain more of what you went to do cause I'm not completely sure if you were selling things like a craft fair or what exactly or where you went other than east. Just curious. Have fun creating!!!

Oh - all that clearance buying surely predicts wonderful things to come. Can't wait to see them!

Thanks for sharing all these photos of vendors/bloggers. What a community you are creating for yourself - an absolute must for creatives (it keeps us sane.) Good for you!

Looking forward to reading more about all this - it's so fun!

Hi Jana,
I just added your link to your blog to the post on The Creative Bazaar so that my friends can meet you too. I also added your blog to my list of Lovely Artisan Blogs. I have so many favorites I decided to organize them today they were out of control. But I can't help myself when I find lovely ladies like you. So nice to have met you. Isn't it nice to be back home again. Glad you had a nice visit, I had such a hard time with those rotaries when I first started driving here five years ago.
Blessings, Karen
