Updates

I have this whole pile of things that I meant to write on here, and never did. So since nothing too eventful is going on in my life, today I'm going to get you all caught up on the random things flowing through my brain (scary, isn't it?)

Remember a few days ago, when I said that one of the relationships I needed to fix was with my friend Nicole? That we hadn't talked in ages and I thought she might be really mad at me? Well, wierdly enough, my friend Kim was asking about Nicole this weekend (Kim missed her too) and decided to call Nicoles parents to see how she was doing... and Nicole was there, visiting, right then!!! We chatted, and NO, she wasn't mad at me at all! My life is good. Thanks Swampgrrl, for the kick in the butt and reminder that the relationship needed to be fixed! You rock!

Speaking of bloggers that rock... for the CAC book swap, I got TWO BOOKS from the awesomely amazing Tammy Mimms!!!! AND a card from her with her artwork on it!!!!! What were the books, you ask? Little Women, which wierdly enough I actually have NOT read yet, and The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I was a little afraid of it's size, at first, but now I'm really getting into it! My inner child enjoys having it read to her, especially while she drinks a cup of hot cocoa. It's set during the days of Arthur and Camelot and Druids and such!!!! Thanks Tammy, you rock!!!!!! *hanging card on wall, to make me smile when I sit at my puter*

Now I'm waiting for my books to arrive all the way up in snowy Canada, at the home of Daises!! I sent them via UPS, so I am obsessively checking to see... "are they there yet?"
