I just had the BIZARREST dream EVER!!!! (Is "bizarrest" a word? Probably not... *shrug* lol)
I remember... my Grandma & mom playing a musical number together on pianos, along with some other people (It was a very very long piano, evidently.) I was sad, because I wasn't included, because I didn't know how to play.
Then I was at Grandma's house, with my cousins, and they played a sad song, and I missed my dad, and I went away to cry. I entered a room where my church friends were making copies. I volunteered to make them for two of my friends, they left the room, and I promptly fell asleep. *giggle* I woke up at 11:45 AM, my cousins were already downstairs, so I hurried to change clothes... they sang a Christmas song, that made me think of my dad, and I was sad some more.
Tried to sneak up the stairs to get my Scooby-Do jumper (NO I don't really have on in real life.. *full body shudder at the thought*) and looked in my Grandma's bedroom and saw...
My Grandpa, laying in the bed! (As in, Grandpa right before he died, and not very healthy at all) and sitting right beside him was... My Grandpa! (As in, Grandpa when I was little, healthy and laughing a lot.) They were watching TV together.
I got upstairs to get my clothes...
And noticed my middle toe and middle fingers were turning green and about to fall off!!!! I e-mailed a ladies e-mail list to ask them if it had ever happened to them, but got no replies.
The End

Okay, that was totally bizarre!
Oh, man...all kinds of things rolling around in your brain, last night!! Hee. The green toe and fingers were so funny, and you emailing the ladies on your email list about that ever happening. Hee. But so sad about your dad...very interesting about your grandpa. Wow. Did you wake up all confused?
OH yeah! That really was a weird dream. I agree.
big hug guess part of your dream was about missing your dad
So - have you ever done a dream expansion? Where you talk to the people in your dreams? You ask them questions and then just write down whatever comes into your head. It can be kinda neat.
Then there's the other way of looking at dreams - each person is one facet of yourself. That always fascinates me!
aren't dreams fun?!
Jana ..you are so funny! The Scooby Doo jump suit! I wonder about health in the dream. The contrast between vital grandpa and sick grandpa and the green fingers and toes falling off...mmmm
Shelley
I have to agree with intuitive creative on the health thing. I also found it interesting that you were going off to be sad and ended up making copies for someone instead of grieving like you needed to. I think that while there are elements of oddity, God could be telling you some things there too. BTW, what did you eat before bed??
I can't believe all of the information you all gave me! I am now going to blog about all of my cool dreams, and we shall analyze them together.
Jana, yes, it was.
Jami, I woke up late, and therefore in a panic. No time to be confused right then.
Jen, yeah I had missed my dad REALLY badly that evening... cried in the parking lot of CVS in fact.
Tammy, dream expansion... so you talk to them (with them not there) and then write down what comes to mind? Interesting.
Yes, Shelley, my health does resemble the toes and fingers... I have a combo of Poison Ivy *scratching*, bronchitis *coughing*, and menstral issues *moaning in pain*. Not doing well at all healthwise at the moment. How about you, are you feeling any better?
Amy... you are so so so right. I have been running crazy these past few weeks... trying to work both jobs, pick up people for church, take a friend on her errands, work with my kids... I really just need to take some time for me. I need to be alone for a while, to cry and just... be. Thanks for reminding me.
Oh, and I ate 2 pieces of bread and butter.
Oh sweetie
BIG HUGS
That was some dream! and all from bread and butter?
:-)
It does help to write them down I think, so you don't lose the details - cause later some connections between your life and your dream might occur to you later. Tammy's idea sure sounds promising. Sweet dreams, Jana!
