You've been gone 11 months now
Almost a year.
The cold weather,
The white snow,
Rremind me of you...
The cold was bitter
Snow and ice covered the parking lot
A nurse helped me carry your things
and my things
Out to the car.
I pulled out of the lot,
Exhausted
Drained
Unable to grasp the reality
You were gone.
