Mine, Mine, ALL MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to let you all know, that as of 1:45 PM Wednesday afternoon, I am the OFFICIAL OWNER OF MY VERY OWN HOME!!!!!!!!

Last night I officially began to "move in" to the house I've been living in (as a renter) for 2 years. I got out my hammer, and a two little nails... and hung up my FIRST WORK OF ART!!!!!!


Tammy V gave this to me as a house-warming present! I LOVE it because it it has an awesome intricate design, a pretty color, AND it perfectly represents what my life is doing... blooming and growing and expanding. I hung it up on the wall, in a place where I see it first thing in the morning when I wake up. Here's a closer-up pic of it, but the color is wonky:

And then I hung up my second piece of art for her, right by the doorway so that I see it every morning, right before I leave my bedroom. *happy sigh*

I also bribed my inner ADHD child by telling her no art-hanging until the room was clean... surprisingly, not only did she get most of the cleaning done, she also spent 45 minutes working on the yard (pretty-smelling flowers are blooming now... *happy sigh*) and then watched CSI while organizing my food storage containers! She DEFINATELY deserved to hang up her art!

Anyway... my point is....

I own my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooo!!!!
