Adventures in Painting!

Last night when I got home, I felt SO ENERGETIC!!! I got all of my painting supplies together, (after much searching) and began to paint!!!

I painted my hair:

Yes, for all of you CAC bloggers, that IS my new hairstyle for the day! hahaha

I painted my feet:

I painted my hands:

OH! And yes, I did actually get some paint on the WALL!!! LOL

It's a very very small bit of progress, this one small and slightly pathetic section of the wall... and it still needs a second coat... but its PROGRESS none the less!

You may not see much of me this weekend, since I'll be hanging out with one of my way-cool-cousins HERE. I plan to take tons of pictures for you though, so you'll here lots from me then! I also have an interview and a meme to do, photos to post (M's first time driving through a drive-thru! Whooooooooooo!!!) , and tons of other things to tell you all about... and I'm NOT EVEN GONE YET!!!! lol

So while I'm gone, you can check out the recipes on last week's CAC Try Day, or tomorrow you can check the CAC blog to see my NEW Try Day post! Either way...

HAVE AN AWESOME WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!!!

This made me laugh so hard. I get paint EVERYWHERE whenever I do my painting. In fact, Faith has it all over her body right now. I need to put her in the tub. She also LICKED one of my pieces before it went in the kiln. I'm glad that stuff is non-toxic!! But GAH!!! It just about ruined the darned thing. I had to repaint it carefully with a watered down base to make up for a toddler lick.

Have a great weekend!!

I have never attempted painting my house, it just seems like so much work! hee.

Let me tell you this house needs a definite make-over.

I hate housepainting. Ugh! But I do love it when it all comes together and looks the way you'd hoped.

Have fun with cousin J! That should be a nice time. I had to laugh at your pictures of removing the wallpaper. I have had to use that stuff before to get it off and I couldn't believe what all it stuck too. Interesting patterns of paper on my feet!

I think I always need to be careful when I paint, there is always paint everywhere
that s why now I protect the walls, the flour and myself with a blouse ;)

aren't you the smart one - getting all that stuff off the wall. Having done that way too many times myself, I must take my hat off to you! congratulations on making your home your home.

You wear your paint well :)
I can't seem to even paint on canvas without wearing a splotch of it somewhere.

Enjoy your weekend - the historical reenactment sounds really interesting -- hope you bring back lots of photos! xo

Adventures in painting sounds just about right...to me, it always seems like "disasters in painting" would have to be my title!!!
