My computer is dead!!!!! I turned it on this morning and smelled smoke and melting wires... I turned it off, took out the power box thingy, which is where the smoke was coming from... I cleaned it (good Lord, there was a million tons of dust in that thing!!!!), reattached it....
And it still didn't work. Piece of crap!!
*sigh* I will be back online on Monday from work, unless I actually go out and buy a new power thingy and try to install it myself. Most likely I'll have a professional do it.

That's no fun! What's cool for me if that stuff happens is we have so many parts laying around, and Jon being a computer network engineer, we never have puters that are dead for long. Hope it can recover soon!

You can find pretty good deals on power supplies on eBay...I'd be happy to help you with that. lol
