Today my computer finally came home from the hospital, after his motherboard bypass surgery. (His video port on the motherboard was burnt out, somehow, so we had to get a video card that attached a different way. Which bites, because my original video card was SOOOOOOOOOO awesomely powerful. *sigh*)
I have missed having a computer around, especially when I want to listen to music or look for quick info online. I've missed evening chats with Alison, and being able to post pics on my blog whenever I want.
What I didn't miss about the internet-less time though, is all the artistic things I accomplished. I currently have 87 ornaments collaged and ready for embellishment! I've had a lot of fun with this, and learned SO MUCH about collage already! I've also definately enjoyed the extra time with my hubby... It's amazing to me, how afraid I was of having him living here. I was terrified that I would feel smothered, need more alone time, etc... instead, I miss him like crazy when he is not here! It's so... WIERD! lol But a good kind of wierd. Marriage is definately more work than we anticipated... but the love we share is worth every bit of the work.

I'm so glad that you're back online and had your time epiphany. It is good to be online but it also good to get away. It's all about balance, isn't it Jana?
Marriage is work but the payoff is incredible.
