Today I could use a little advice on two VERY different things!
What might these things be? Well.....
1. Tomorrow is my VERY FIRST counseling appointment! I am almost-officially getting mental health help! *happy dance*
I'd like to make the visit as productive as possible. Do any of you have any ideas of how I can make it easier to get the counselor into my head?
2. I need a business name!!!!! My creative endeavors need an official name to be listed on Melba's list of people going to the Creative Bazaar! Soooooooo....
I decided to make a contest!!!
The person who comes up with the name I decide to use for my business, gets a free item from my not-quite-set-up-yet Etsy store!!! (Don't look so unimpressed! I'm adding new stuff between now and when the contest ends! LOL)
What will I be selling??
Crocheted baby things, stitch markers for knitting, random crocheted & knitted goods... and embellished boxes, which are my true obsession.
Hint: I love spelling words creatively!
LET THE CONTEST BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, your beaded stitch markers are so lovely, Jana. Hm. Names. I'll have to ponder this. :-)
be honest and tell it exactly as it is
cool news about your Etsy store
all the best with it my friend
I have been with my counselor for years and once you get comfortable with them it will not be hard. I would first let the counselor start and then you take it from there, share what comes to your mind and heart and let it all out. What you say in that room stays in that room.
A name huh? Hmm....
1. Embellished Treasures
2. Creations by Jana
3. True Art
Uh-oh, am I allowed more than one?
Jana - counseling was difficult for me at first. I was lucky in finding a really great therapist!
Try to be relaxed and not let yourself get too tense in your session. Also, know that she/he won't judge you, so be honest. It only hurts you if you're dishonest!
As for a business name - cool that you're starting etsy!!! the one thing that popped into my head that I've heard you say often is "cute wittle" (I think in reference to your nose?!) You could use that somehow! :)
honesty. don't be afraid to spill, go with your heart :)
i like jana's jems 'full of treasures'
