Life Today

OMW... i have so much to tell you all. This week has just FLOWN by. SuperRoomie officially moved out at 7 AM Wednesday. I'd taken the day off since I knew we'd be up late packing and I'd be exhaused... so I spent the afternoon cleaning and shopping for cleaning supplies. Since SuperRoomie was crunched for time, there is a LOT of cleaning left to be done... and a lot of things left behind. Tonight her friend Dixie will be over to take an exercise bike and a HUGE desk... not sure what all else. I'm packing most of her leftover stuff into boxes, to give to Goodwill or have a yard sale...

I'm feeling a big overwhelmed... there is so much to do! By bedtime last night I had cleaned out SuperRoomie's bedroom, and part of the bathroom. I still have the rest of the house left... *sigh*. Oh, and I had cleaned off the front porch, so the kittens can enjoy a clean place to play and eat.

I'm feeling very needy this week. I'm doing all of this work, and there is no one to notice or care! No one will be pleased by how much cleaner the house is. No one will tell me how much better it looks, or how hard I've worked. This is eating at me, and I've found myself looking for affirmation anywhere that I can get it. I don't like myself when I feel this way... so I'm going to go home tonight, (after taking a happy pill in a minute, since it IS that time of day) make sure that I get plenty of sleep, and spend plenty of time in prayer. I feel affirmed when I spend time really being with God.

But until then, if anyone wanted to leave me a hug, that would also be nice. I could use a hug today.

So now you know MY weekend plans (sleep, eat, pray, and lots of cleaning... oh, and Jakey's 5th birthday party! Woo hoo!)...

I haven't had much time to bloghop, or even to write in my own blog... so let me just ask you here:

What's new in your lives? Any great plans for the weekend?

Okay, sending a HUGE HUG your way!

Don't feel bad about want affirmation, we all seek at one point or another.

I think you did an excellent job cleaning up your home and making a nice area for the little kitties.

You deserve to buy a nice hot snickers latte for a job well-done!

Jana, I'm so proud of you for getting your house organized! If my stupid phone ever gets her, I'll call ya! It's not looking promosing right now. Grrr! I'm overwhelmed also with no one to talk to. A friend of mine isupset with me for not being as nice as i should be... But I can't help it!!! I tell it like it is... I think my phone just came! Who ever it was knocked scared me to death!Omw! I was watching kind of the hill and i heard this huge bang on my front door! I was like Omg! someone's breaking in!I think a bird hit it or something. Whatever it was, made my heart droop so fast, that it made me dizzy!

well - sending hugs and a few dog kisses just for you.

I'm off to NC to look at houses - that's my weekend (and maybe some studio time today since I've been out delivering and picking up artwork).

Hey Cuz!

I understand the affirmation thing when you clean. I clean alot and even though there are 5 people in this house who could say thanks, they very seldom do. They only complain when it gets messy or there's no clean underwear. He he!

My great plans for the weekend were to get food ready for a fund raiser meal we had at church today. The teens did a great job and we raised $750. It was decided that it should all go to this one family for the trip who still didn't have all their money.

Tomorrow, I just want to chill. We'll see...
