Friday I did some necessary shopping, came home, cleaned some, and then decided to give the doggie a bath.
1 hour, a clean doggie, and one VERY DIRTY JANA later... I took the doggie on a walk, with her proudly showing off her new collar (It's pink!), and happily prancing around. I got a little lost, so the walk lasted a bit longer than originally planned! Got home, gave the doggie a treat, and went inside to get her some food. I came back in like 15 minutes... and found the doggie...
Rolling in the mud, from a hole she had just dug!!!!!!!!!
Pets suck sometimes.

Yep, the joys of having a dog or cat, they both seem to find dirt to roll in, once they are bathed!
Speaking of which it is time to bathe my 35-lb cat.

Though we're dogless right now - this reminded me of several similar situations in years past. If it had been one of mine, they would have managed to have gotten away and rolled in the mud while we were still on the walk - so you got about 15 extra clean dog minutes than I would have had! Still so frustrating - hope you two have a better (and cleaner!) day tomorrow, Jana. xo
