See, for example, what happened to my cousins... who didn't show up to my bridal shower, wedding, or even send a card of congratulations. I was very hurt by this, as almost no one from my dad's family bothered to come to my wedding.
A part of me is sad, because I have happy memories of working for them in the now-burnt-down schoolhouse... making yummy maple cookies, soup beans, and chicken & noodles... listening to Archie play his fiddle outside as my little cousins danced...
But most of me is feeling warm and fuzzy, cuz "It couldn't happen to a nicer person!" Bwahahahahaha! Serves ya right!
