The Time Has Come...

Today I realized that it is time for me to find a new job. I absolutely despise change... but it's time. I've stayed at this job for 2 years, and wierdly enough now that I'm talking about this, I remember my pastor's wife at the time prophesying that if I stayed at this job for 2 years, God would bless me.

Well, that was over 2 years ago. I've stayed at this job through lots of junk... through the bi-polar-ish yelling fits of the supervisor, the unmedicated mental-health issues of a coworker... I've watched people walk out, watched them storm through the building yelling at one another... and I've stayed here in my spot, quietly watching it all. I've sucked it up, taken Prozac, and dealt.

Now, my time has come. I'm FREEE!!!!! (Almost.)

So now comes the fun part... looking happy at work, and then putting my resume up all over creation as soon as work hours are done. Fun times are ahead... While I'm here, I'll do my best to make things work... but I'm ready for a change.

So, lets do a warm-fuzzy-bonding question today, shall we?

What would your DREAM JOB consist of?

Dream Job: creating art 20 hours a week, with an artist representative finding places to sell that work at a price that would pay the place, her and me a living wage, and with an administrative assistant to do paperwork and keep up with clients. The other 20 hours a week I'd be out networking and seeing new art spots. I'm about 30% there.....

wishing you the BEST job ever!

LOVE your attitude
I hate to think that the new co worker has made you come to this realization but it does sound like there are other reasons
I pray that you find another job very soon and that it will make you very happy

Dream Job: outside of being a mom to 4 amazing kids which I already do, my dream job would be to own my own bakery and have some very creative people working for me and making amazing pastries, cakes, etc. That or to have my own business as a Professional Organizer.

My dream job, good question...

If I were highly intelligent and a graduate at MIT, I would be a software programmer and developer.

Or be a highly educated stay-at-home mom, homeschooling her children, with strict guidelines and discipline, as well, a lot of love, patience and understanding their strengths and their weakneses. Teaching them at their pace.

(Hubby would have to be a very, very successful working man, to pull this off. hee.) OHHH.. how I wish.
