Mmmm.....
I recieved my Happy Swap package from Tammy Mimms this week, and look what she sent me: Mint Mojito gum!!! A new flavor from Orbit! I think I am in love.... *happy sigh* In fact, I even shared it with my office co-workers... and as we tried to identify the flavors, we found THIS site, explaining how the Mojito drink is made. My boss now calls me a "gum alcoholic"! Hahaha
I wanted to take a pic of all the other goodies I got from Tammy, but my camera seems to have disappeared beneath the expanding chaos in my house. :o( Maybe next week? You MUST see all the goodies she game me... fun lip balm, cookies, a CD, a notebook, Sharpies (which I might just fall in love with... they are PASTEL colors! I *heart* pastel colors!), and a Cooking Light magazine, with some YUMMY looking recipes on the front! Mom & I used to get his magazine way back when, and loved it!!! And all of these were wrapped up neatly in cute tissue paper with polka dots!!!!

In other news....
The house is still trashed. Will it EVER get done? Every burst of cleaning messes up something else... It's very depressing. But progress IS being made! I got my craft supplies and books onto shelves finally, and began digging through all of the misc crap thrown into my bedroom to keep the rest of the house clean. So, the bedroom is now cleaner, but in the process I messed up the kitchen & office. Does it ever end?
My oh-so-sweet neighbors decided to help me clean out my fence area, which almost moved me to tears... I love my neighborhood!!! James is coming over tomorrow, and we're going to work on the yard some more. I plan to dig out the camera and have all kinds of pics to show you all!!
The doggie is becoming stronger and healthier... and MUCH more energetic. (Is this really a good thing?) We've been walking more and more, and she's starting to get the hang of how to walk like a civilized animal. I'm starting to really like having a doggie.
All in all, life is good!!!!

I sure can sympathise with the whole tidying/organising house thing. I often feel like I am getting nowhere and feel totally overwhelmed, and then amazing I suddenly 'get there' . It is suddenly tidy AND organised, when I had nearly given up. And oh so much sweeter when you get an unexpected helping hand.
Glad you stopped by ... I now have another lovely new blog to read. Next I must find out about this 'Be Connected' blog...

Yay! I'm glad you liked your package! Doesn't that gum just rock?! Mojitos as a drink are very yummy!! I have to be careful though as citrus gives me a migraine. Mike had one recently that was called an Italian Mojito - Limoncello and Basil... very odd, but yummy! :) I had fun putting the package together too!
I'm glad dad's girlfriend and you have established communication and doggie is well. Can't wait for pictures :)
