A Little Down...

Today I went to the doctor... always a nerve-wracking event for me. Had my appointment with my new doctor (Dad's doctor when he was alive). I'm supposed to go for an x-ray on my knee soon to see what's wrong.

I feel like I'm completely bottoming out emotionally today. I'm sitting in my desk at work, so good at pretending to be okay... but inside I'm falling apart. I want to lay down and sob...

But I won't. Today is not over yet. I'm taking Dad's girlfriend to the license branch, so she can take ownership of his car. (His wishes.) Then, after chatting and sharing memories, I'll head for home... or maybe to the cemetery to visit Dad. But either way... I'll face the joy and the pain, and come out stronger.

And on a happier note... a preview of some of the stitch markers (for knitting) I've been busy constructing!
