Time to Panic!!!

3 days until tax season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMW!!!!! I'm not ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I needed to get that out of my system.

Anyway... I really did start typing this for a reason, and here it is:

In 3 days, my life will go insane, but if I can make it for 3 months, my finances will be improved dramatically... and I will probably have extra (paid) time to CREATE when no customers are present! Yeah!

Tonight I plan to make my goals for Tax Season 07. I plan to focus on self-care, because that suffers so often during this season... and doing things to keep my life organized and running smoothly.

I'll be working approx 29 hours at the second job, plus 40 at my "real job". My spare time will be limited basically to Saturday evenings, and 2 hours on Fridays.

So, here's where y'all come in... I need some advice about getting organized. In EVERY area of my life... healthy eating, self-care, cleaning, finances, etc.

What organizational tactics have you used that work? What advice (if any) do you have for me?

I hate tax season! We're always late....

I posted another detailed reason for our Florida Trip after your comment....that will tell you why we're going to be staying in, no, not a hotel, a condo! :)

meals: fix a big pot of soup or stew or stir fry or meat and veggies (depending on your taste)...then you'll have something already healthy to eat when you get home. Have a lettuce salad with it. Easy, healthy.

Or whip up a bunch of spaghetti or noodles. Eat cold over lettuce with a yummy dressing; heat in the micro with store bought sauce; add nice chunky multigrain bread.

self-care: sleep - make sure you get enough sleep. and if you don't take vitamins, at least take a B multi.

cleaning: eh. Let that go. Just put things you use away as you use them and leave the rest of the stardust that piles up.

Finances: well, gee, how much time do you have to spend money? So finances: ka-ching: watch ye olde bank account fill up.

*gasp* late for taxes? Bad Berylla!!!!!!

Tammy, "Eat cold over lettuce with a yummy dressing" Was that statement about spagetti? Never heard of doing that.

Yes, I take a daily multi-vitamin... or try to remember to. I forget sometimes... like the last 2 nights lol.

Your comments on cleaning & finances made me laugh!!!

Yikes!! That is a lot of hours to work. There is no way I could handle such a hard schedule. I would say, take an occassional breather between jobs. Take some fruit or nuts or something if you get the munchies. My favorite exercise guru, Denise Austion, always says this, "Eat like a king at breakfast, eat like a queen at lunch time and eat like a pauper at dinner time."

oh, and p.s. I got so excited over the painting I forgot to ask if I can come to your dinner party because I really really like your guest list!

Two minute drill: if you can do it in two minutes - just do it. Don't bother procrastinating the two minute jobs!

Good luck!
