I just got back from my cousin's house and thought I'd tell you all a few of the things I'm extra-specially thankful for today... but first of all let me just post one small "thot". *giggle*
I have always wondered what on earth possessed people to ride a motorcycle. I mean, they're loud, they offer you no protection from oncoming cars, and just looked really hard to keep upright!!!!!
And then I rode one.
OMW I am SO stinkin' addicted now!!!!!!!!!!! My cousin Adam and I took a short ride yesterday and a long one today and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I plan to call James tomorrow and tell him he needs to get one. *giggle*
Anyway... things I'm thankful for:
- My Aunt Ferol, who I took home (and got back to the nursing home ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES LATE!!! *giggle*). SHE ROCKS!!!!!!! Who knew? (Amy, did you know how cool Aunt Ferol was?) How did I know her so many years and never have a clue she was SO wicked cool?!
- Aunt Barbara's pumpkin dump cake with fancy stuff added... amazingly cool!!!
- Finding out that my 11 year old cousin and I have matching slippers!!!!!!! *giggle*
- Watching "You, Me, & Dupree" (funny but way too sexual) and "Cars" (I laughed SOOOOOOOO hard!!!!! I love Fred!!!!!!!! "Andretti knows my name!!!!" *giggle snort*)
- Family. Family is precious. We don't always see eye to eye, but we all love each other, forgive each other, and work on looking past each other's faults. I hope my family always stays together. I've decided that family unity is something worth fighting for.
- MY NEW CAMERA PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all will have SO many pics to look at... as soon as I figure out how to send them. LOL At the moment I'm busy browsing ringtones. :o)
- NANCY DREW GAMES!!!! A lady at my church heard that I had been playing them, and since she is totally obsessed with them, she lent me two of the games I didn't have yet!!!!
- God's patience. I have no idea how or why he puts up with me sometimes, but he does, and I'm way grateful.

I've been riding motorcycles (which translates to Harleys) since I was 16...husband has two, one for backup just in case. Must admit that knees and age make it less comfortable now...but there's nothing like the wind in your face!
Loved your list. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey Jana! Sounds like you guys all had a nice Thanksgiving! Yes, Aunt Ferol is very cool. She would love having you come visit regularly! I love the movie Cars too! It is so funny! Family unity is definately worth fighting for.

Alison, I plan to!
Amy, I'm sure Aunt Ferol would love visits from all of us... when I apologized for not visiting her more, she told me I should be sorry... but that I wasn't the only person who didn't visit her.
Thanks Eliza!
pleased you had a good thanks giving Jana
That's funny what Aunt Ferol said! But all to true that she doesn't get many visitors. We visit her when we come to Terre Haute, which is once in a blue moon.
Glad you had a happy Thanksgiving, Jana!
