I'm still alive! *using best Monty Python voice* I'm not dead! I'm still alive! I feel happy!
Sorry, that quote always amuses me!
Anyway... I just wanted to post (and actually FINISH the post, unlike the 4 not-quite-done posts I have saved) and let you all know that I really am alive. My life has become a very strange routine...
8:00-4:30 - Work @ work
4:45-6:00 - Work on house
6:00-7:00 - Eat supper, watch Stargate, knit
7:00-10:00 - Work on house (watching TV for a max of 1 hour during that time, usually while ripping wallpaper off the living room wall)
10:00 - Shower, call Alison, pray, read Bible, read a book, sleep. (Not necessarily in that order.)
As you can see, the words "computer" and "blog" do not occur in the schedule, which is why I haven't posted much lately... I start a really deep post, and then can't finish it... so today you get a shallow whiney-butt post from me! Whoo hoo!
*whining will begin here*
I woke up this morning with a Charlie horse in one leg (lower leg muscles tighten up horribly and hurt like heck!), and then in the other leg... went back to sleep after a while, and woke up again later, with ANOTHER Charlie horse in one leg!!!
So now my leg muscles are still WAY tight... it's kinda painful to walk... (My coworker said I need more potassium, and should eat a banana. Yum... Peanut butter & Banana sandwich!)
And to top it all off...
I can't find my car keys. Again. *sad sigh* I was 20 minutes late to work after searching all over creation for them, and then finally hitching a ride with SuperRoomie. I think they were moved as I shuffled things about so I could paint yesterday.
So.. me and my already-very-achey legs will be walking home tonight.
But, in happier news... I plan to stay in my OWN HOUSE this weekend! Whooooo!!! My own bed... lots of jammies... quality time with my puter... sleeping in tomorrow...
*happy sigh*
There are advantages to lost keys! lol

Charley horse! OWIE!!
I hate charlie-horses! They hurt!
Sorry you have to walk home, but at least this time, it is not freezing cold outside. You just might enjoy it today.
A lot of comfort that was, huh?
Princess, yes it WAS quite Owie-ish!!!
Leti, actually I'm almost positive that I WILL enjoy my lovely walk home. I'd planned to start walking to and from work more often anyway. It's all good, except for the pain lol
: )
my hubby gets those charlie owwws all the time, he takes magnesium for them i think ... all i know is owwwww, they look painful ...
i love walking or biking to work, such a wonderful way to start and end the day : )
you sound BUSY!!!!!!!!!
hope your legs come right
you should put a hook up on the wall by your front door and use it I have and it has made a big difference
have a good weekend
full moon this week - lost keys, charley horses: all about right. I, doing nothing but walking into and out of the Post Office, have pulled my back way out - and it's the weekend so I can't even go to physical therapy and direct them to back instead of shoulder. It's all an adventure meant to knock us off our regular path onto a new one of excitement and grand new things.
Potassium - and calcium, too! Hope your charley-horses are all gone now, and that you have a lovely, happy weekend in your very own house!
Thank you so much for your blog. it is refreshing to see someone just write about what is really going on with their life. I will be definitely reading you daily. Good Luck with the sun burn. A lot of Aloe Vera and Noxema gives you a great deal of relief as well.

You sound like you have been a busy gal. Eat more bananas for charlie horses ;) XXOO
Jana - between the sunburn and the charlie horse, you are one brave woman to even think about walking home from work! :o) I'm one of your swap partners for June (I'm the swapper and you are the swappee . . . . I think that is how it goes!) Anyway, I'll be thinking up something in shades of blue for you - what do you need for your new house? Nina
PS yes, bananas should help fix your leg cramps! Enjoy your day!
