Tonight I finally took the plunge and started on my first attempt at collage. It's not anyways NEAR done, but I have to say I had a ton of fun doing it. It was my first time trying collage, AND my first time using Mod-Podge (which BTW is way cool!). So, today's pic is my first set of layers of the collage. The grass has some wierd spots from the paper ripping, but those will be covered up in the next day or so by more grass or flowers or other stuff. That's the neat thing about collage... there's always room for another LAYER. As you get one area closer and closer to how you want it to look, you can begin to add on, and work on the next layer. Kinda like life, eh?NOTE: The brown stick-like thing is the trunk of a tree. I ran out of time before I could add leaves to it or finish the grass.

The tree looks amazingly like a tree. Love all the layering. Too cool. I can't wait to see what this will look like when it's done.
