I am so excited! Today is thursday, the day we work with "my kids" in the evening. I bought them a HUGE supply of hairthings (and brushes/combs that can be boiled so no lice are transferred, and then used again), because I firmly believe that EVERY girl should be taught how beautiful she can be. Now I'm trying to find hairdo sites online. Anyone have good suggestions? Tonight I'm going to teach the girls to do this
style! I'll try to take pics of the kids hair after I get done. And speaking of pics...

I'm just getting caught up still on everyone's blogs, I got so behind during AEM/NaNoWriMo/BloMo/WhateverMo that I feel like I missed a month out of my life - and everyone elses!
Anyway, treasure your youthful looks - I know I looked like I was 12 - right up until I was 40! Then it seemed like I went from looking 12 to looking 50!! Yikes!
I think it's great you're teaching the girls hairstyling, we do that at the school, call it "ladies club" and each lady has her little brush and comb in a makeup bag, all labelled with her name (all from the 99 cent store). It's fun to do before and after pics, too. They also put together a picture journal cutting out photos from magazines of hairstyles, clothing etc that they would like to try. Just thought I'd pass that on for what it's worth. Thanks for the heads up on the slippers!
Came back to add, for the record, though you look youthful, you look at least sweet 16!
