Happy Thanksgiving Eve!!!!!

Quick update:

Still feeling crappy, but I DID go to the doctor last night. I have a nasal spray that is supposed to help clear up my ear infection, and an antibiotic specifically geared to people with tolerance to amoxicillan (which I have... cuz dude, I was ALWAYS sick as a kid, and they always prescribed that! Even when I didn't work... but it tasted yummy!). I'm supposed to call on Saturday to update the doc, and if it's not better by Monday I have to see an ENT doctor to find out why I've had this ear infection since May. In the meantime if I can just get rid of the sniffle and the cough... I'd be great.

No idea yet if we'll get to go to either family gathering tomorrow... if I feel like I would be contagious, I can't go to mom's family, because I can't risk making my Grandma sick. We might try to go to James's family, since no one there has low immunity... but I doubt it. I really want to try to go to my family. Soooooo... I've packed my yarn and other fun stuff in my little bag in case we get to go, and we'll see how I feel in the morning. Now I'm on my way to take my antibiotic with a Star Crunch and some tea, and head to bed.... Happy Turkey Day everyone!!!!!

Hope you feel better so you can go Jana. Being sick on the holidays is no fun. Being sick is no fun but holidays is worse. Put vicks on your feet and then put socks on them and it helps the congestion and cough.

Happy Thanksgiving Jana - hope you are well enough to go to your family. Glad your heat is now on - We did a Dec through Feb without heat cause the furnace went out and everyone we called wanted thousands...so, lucky us, we just heated with our wood stove (which we do anyways, but always with heat backup in case the fire goes out or whatever). Look into a wood stove (you can usually find them used, too. Vermont Castings is my favorite of all). They're the best! It costs us 2 cords of wood ($250 to $320 here) to heat all winter long.

BTW - did you get the PayPal...baby is here...I need my baby outfit!
