AMAZING!!!!

My husband has found the basic template on which all political debate answers are formed:

Something something something his fault....

Something something something economic bailout...

Something something something vote for me.

All I have to say is McCain, Obama, YOU TWO FREAKIN' DISGUST ME!!!! I felt like I was watching a tennis match instead of a debate... "it's HIS fault! No, it's HIS fault!"

C'mon guys... basic kindergarten skills say it doesn't MATTER who hit first... if you're in a fistfight, you're both in trouble!!!! Now our country is the one in trouble, so stop passing the buck and passing the blame, and START SOLVING THE FREAKIN' PROBLEMS!!!!!

GROW. UP.

In happy news, I have a job interview tomorrow, for a permanent job!!!!!!!!

i feel the exact same way. Just tired now of the crappy debates and no one really being clear on what they are going to do.

good luck at your interview!

I have to jump in here and say I disagree Jana. (just my own opinion of course... not trying to start an argument or change your mind - just stating what I think.)

I will defend Obama. I believe that McCain put him on the defensive by pointing the fingers and blaming where it wasn't due. McCain has pulled out all the stops and is lying to try and save his own bid. Obama did try to defend himself against McCain's attacks.

There was MUCH more substance in what Obama had to say in the debate though. He gave actual answers - actual ways he would do this, this and this (economy, health care, etc.) McCain just rehashed and never gave any clear plan.

Again - just my two cents worth. Take it for what it is worth...

I didn't watch the debate, but I did hear something a few days ago that made me think. Too many people are expecting the government to "fix" the problems in America, like the recent economic "fix". But really it is up to each of us to take care of ourselves and do the best we can with what God has given us. We can still make our opinions known by voting, but really, until there is some honesty in politicians (LOL) how the government is run is bought and paid for by lobbiest and special interest groups with LOTS of money that keep these politicians pockets lined. Nothing proved that to me more than the newly passed "bail out". Our government is one screwed up entity. That's my opinion for what it's worth.

Well - how did the job interview go - I am on pins and needles waiting to hear!!!
too bad on the ballot there will not be "vote for none of the above" as much as they thought they represent change they are just all politicians - let me lie until it sounds like the true and blame the guy next to me!! it is getting old!
take care--Ellie

Waitin' on heaing about the interview...working myself, away from computers (in the great out doors) so my presence online will be much diminished (but the job's great - I get the throw away plants for free...works for me!).
and there must be something about "Tammy"....I agree with the other one here. About the Supreme Court justices - there are always rumors, one never knows for sure because the justices sure don't do press releases on it. Have fun dancing!

Saw a flash of the old McCain the other day - snippet of town hall ...McCain actually stopped all the "he's an Arab" (Obama) and "Im afraid if he's elected" and said - Barack Obama is an honorable man, a good family man. I think I'd make a better president but Senator Obama is a capable man. That was nice. That was the McCain I liked back in 2002
. So, hear anything about the job?
